Placing an order

Browsing our site and placing an order couldn’t be easier.
Use the main category listings on the left hand side of the site - these lead into sub-categories where all the titles in that category are shown in detail. When you locate the title of your choice, clicking on the image icon will display more information on the title plus an enlarged picture.
Alternatively, you can use the key word search facility at the top of each page on the site. This will help you find subjects in which you are particularly interested, e.g. type in Spitfire or Arnhem to locate all the products we stock on these subjects. If you know the unique product code number, typing this in will take you straight to your choice.
Once you have found the title of your choice, click the ‘add to basket’ icon and this will be placed in your basket. You will then be able to continue shopping. Should you wish to change your order in any way, you can do this by clicking on the ‘view basket’ icon. 

Processing an order

When you wish to complete your order, please click on the ‘go to checkout’ icon, where your order will be displayed. You will then be taken through the order processing procedures. Payment is taken by Simply Home Entertainment upon receipt of your order. Please note that the payment is processed on behalf of Simply Home Entertainment, and the name that will appear on your credit card or bank statement will be shown as Simply Home Shopping.

You will also receive an e-mail from the Radio Times DVD Store in partner with Simply Home Entertainment to confirm that we have received and are processing your order.

Delivery times

We endeavour to fulfil your order as soon as possible. If your order is in stock in our warehouse, this will be dispatched to you immediately. If goods are temporarily out of stock, your order will be placed on back order and will be dispatched as soon as stock is available. You will be advised by e-mail should your order be subject to an unacceptable delay.

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning goods to us. Please advise us in writing whether you require a replacement item or a full refund and the reason for the return – damaged in transit, sound quality, duplicated delivery, picture quality, late delivery, missing inserts, dispatch error, broken tape.

If the goods being returned to us are faulty or were delivered to you in error we will reimburse your postage costs for return. We recommend that you send the item recorded delivery or that you request a certificate of posting from the Post Office.

On receipt of your returned goods your account will be credited or a replacement ordered for you. We will refund your credit/debit card with the cost of the cancelled item(s) within 30 days of notification of cancellation. However, you should you fail to return the goods; we reserve the right to charge you the direct costs of recovering the item(s). This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

DVD Classification

All DVDs released in the United Kingdom are subject to the rules governing the Video Recordings Act. The British Board of Film Classification certificates all titles and these certificates are clearly shown on both the packaging and the disc/tape as well as on the Radio Times DVD Store in partner with Simply Home Entertainment site. It is unlawful for the supply of any title to a person under the age of the certification, e.g. an 18 certificated product to a person under the age of 18. For your information, the certification is as follows:
18 18 Years – suitable only for persons of 18 years and over
15 15 Years – suitable only for persons of 15 years and over
12 12 Years – suitable only for persons of 12 years and over
PG Parental Guidance – general viewing but some scenes may be unsuitable for young children
U Universal – suitable for all ages
Uc Universal – particularly suitable for children
E Exempt from classification by the British Board of Film Classification.
